THERES SUCH THING AS NON CLICKY PENS!

thats so cooool.,., ive managed to not annoy everyone because i use only pencils because i make a lot of mistakes cause i change my mind mid sentence but ive had to use pens for exams lately and im like,.,. THESE ARE VERY GOOD TO CLICK WITH!

i just realised what you meant by non clicky pens

you mean the twisty ones!

i was imagining one where you click it and get the satisfactory feeling of it locking and unlocking but its silent so you dont annoy everyone!!!!

non-clicky ones are either twisty or capped. unfortunately no one yet presented me with a clicky pen that would satisfy my need to click *and* not drive others insane at the same time. i’m sure nasa is working on it

finding out people dont usually add numbers by first adding something to make a ten (for example 7+6= 7 plus 3 is 10 plus another 3 is 13) & that its actually an adhd thing is the WILDEST shit literally ive lived like 10 years (or however old i was when i learned to add and stuff) thinking thats how everyone does it. what the fuck

What

It’s also an autism thing, apparently.

wait. hold the fuck up.

both me & my gf do this, and we’re both shocked other people apparently don’t do this???

do you guys got any sources on this?

So I started watching Brooklyn 99 and I’m only like three episodes in but Jake Peralta is like??? such an ADHD icon???? I mean

  • has his own organization system that no one else really understands
  • fidgeting, always, like, always
  • ALWAYS talking, usually to say that he just figured something out or remembered something unrelated to the situation at hand
    • like in the first episode he interrupts the arrest and is like “Oh my god I just figured it out!” like not the best time
  • Impulsive
  • that desk is a MESS but it’s a system he understands
  • incredibly bored by repetitive tasks such as paperwork
  • constantly taking on a new case (starting a new project)
  • boredom is I.N.T.O.L.E.R.A.B.L.E.
  • wants to be challenged
  • just, distracted, always, but also on task
    • like they accept him, and Holt even does things to help him work better and challenges him to not just be arrogant about his abilities
  • smart
  • creative
  • but again, just, distracted, always, all the time, just, it never ends
  • a true ADHD icon, truly

“if you forgot it it must have not been important”

buddy. pal. you underestimate the power of my forgetfulness.

list of things i remember forgetting this past week:

1. my own birth date

2. my sister’s name

3. how old i am – told someone i was 19, my sister asked if i was 24, i’m still not sure

5. i ate dinner twice because i forgot i already ate

6. i’m sure there’s more i’m just forgetting

so if your character has brain farts (or blonde moments, like i used to get teased about in school) that’s totally normal

that ADHD mood when you’re just hyper fixating on productivity techniques and therefore not getting anything done because you’re on your tenth TEDtalk of the day and have download 20 different to-do list apps and made 5 new bujo spreads and gotten 0 practical things done
